In today’s modern world and modern food habits obesity has become a major problem. About 68.8 percent of adults in America are said to be obese. Due to its not changing food habits it has also become a threat to the children as 1 out of 10 children in the US are obese now-a-days. So it is important to teach them good food habits even from the childhood as old habits die hard.

Normally people have the misconception that eating less will not cause obesity. People who are in need of losing weight just starve themselves with crazy diets. The only way to lose weight is by eating healthy. Here are some of the tips to stay healthy.

  1. Breakfasting every day:

People who skip breakfast think that they are cutting calories; instead it will make them take in more calories during the remaining part of the day. Studies reveal that people who take morning breakfast have less BMI than people who skip breakfasts.

  1. Taking High fibers:

By taking high fiber lunch with vegetables one can prevent from getting hungry till supper. High fiber food has less calories, less fat and lots of bulk. This will keep you filled the whole day and will take long time to digest keeping the blood sugar level even and nit spiking up.

  1. Eat Raw and Greeny:

Eating green vegetables raw will help you fill up and take long time to digest. These contain less calories and contain lots of fiber. They are also abundant in vitamin c, vitamin E, folate and carotenoids, which are responsible for overall health.

  1. Intake proteins to lose weight:

We are not telling you take all high protein diets, just to make sure you take some proteins with every meal. People on high-protein diets that are also rich in slow burning carbohydrates low on glycemic index can reduce fat and not muscle.

  1. Nuts for a Healthy life:

Nuts are not forbidden now they are salty and crunchy, even though they are fatty, they will help you reduce weight. Researchers have found out that people who take good fat intake are more likely to shed weight than people who don’t. studies found out that people who intake nuts regularly have lower BMIs than those who don’t.

  1. Calcium to break the fat:

Calcium plays a major part in breaking and storing the fat. The more the calcium in a fat cell the more it burns. People who had large amount of calcium in their yogurt had a high reduction in weight loss than people who didn’t.
